📚 SCHOOLBOOK & STATIONERY COLLECTION
As part of the Post Primary School Books Scheme 2026/2027, students can collect their schoolbooks and stationery packs from the school on:

⏰ 6.00pm – 8.00pm
OR
📅 Tuesday 25th August
⏰ 6.00pm – 8.00pm
🧳 Please bring a strong bag or suitcase to help you take your books and stationery home.

🎒 1st Year – Your First Day
We are really looking forward to welcoming our new 1st Year students to St. Wolstan’s! 1st Year Students in their PE Uniform for their first day.
📅 Thursday 27th August
⏰ 8.55am – 12.16pm
Your first day is all about getting to know your new school, your classmates and the people who are here to support you.
Students will meet their Year Head, Class Tutor, Prefects and other members of staff, spend time with their Tutor group, get to know the school and take part in activities to help everyone settle in. This follows the induction approach used in the school’s 1st Year information booklet.
What should I bring?
There is no need to bring all of your schoolbooks on your first day. Books and other resources can be brought into school gradually as they are needed for your subjects.
For your first day, please bring:
- 🎒 Your schoolbag
- ✏️ A pen/pencil case
- 📝 Something to write on
- 🍎 A snack
- 💧 A drink
Most importantly, don’t worry about knowing where to go or what to do. There will be lots of staff and senior students there to welcome you, show you around and help you settle into life at St. Wolstan’s. 💚💛
🎒 First Day Back for 2nd to 6th Year Students (in Full School Uniform)
Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Year will have two classes, as per their timetable, on their first day back.
Students should bring:
- ✏️ A pen
- 📝 Something to write on (copy/notebook or paper)
- 🍎 A snack for breaktime
There is no need to carry a full schoolbag of books on the first day.
