Cross Country Success

Congratulations to all students who took part in the Community Schools Cross Country Championships on Thursday 17th November in the Phoenix Park. Altogether we had 27 runners that took part.
Winners:
Our 2nd year girls won the overall girls team trophy. The team was Gillian Keegan, Aimee Bolger, Aoife Hanratty, Claire Kennedy, Maeve Connell, Eilish O’Brien, Aimee Byrne, Aoife Wosser.
Our 3rd year girls also won the overall girls team trophy. The team was Sinead O’Connor, Roisin Nolan, Christine Campion, Emer Pierce Keogh, Hannah O’Grady, Laura O’Flynn.
In the individual 3rd year competition we won gold , silver and bronze. Sinead O’Connor won gold, Roisin Nolan won silver and Christine Campion won bronze.
In the senior race Chloe Abbott came 1st and won the individual trophy. The senior team of Chloe, Lauren Tierney, Rebekah Kennedy and Sarah Bourke came 3rd overall.
